Imperial German Wound Badge in Gold replica.Imperial German  Wound Badge was instituted by Wilhelm II, German Emperor on 3 March 1918, which was awarded to soldiers of the German Army that were wounded during World War I.  It was an oval badge with laurels surrounding the edges and a ribbon at the base.  In the center of the badge is an Imperial helmet, with two crossed swords behind it. Imperial German Wound Badge in Gold was awarded for five wounds or more.It was worn on the lower left breast of the uniform or tunic.
