In June of 1943 four new classes of the Panzer Assault Badge were introduced for 25, 50, 75 and 100 engagements.  The versions for 25 and more engagements consisted of an award that was similar to the unnumbered Panzer Badge, but are slightly larger with a small plaque at the base of the wreath bearing the number of actions rewarded.The wreath of Panzer Assault Badge 50 Engagements was silvered,the tank was darkened.
