General Assault Badge 25 Engagements was instituted on 22 June 1943,and  was awarded to soldiers of the Heer and Waffen SS that had taken part in 25 attacks.It consisted of an oval wreath of oak leaves similar to the unnumbered badge, but are larger with a small plaque at the base of the wreath bearing numbers "25". The central design was blackened, while the wreath was silvered.
